No, Oakley Thumps Don't Make you Look Ridiculous, just Martian

These things are just great.  Look at them, they are sweet as hell.  Supposedly based on an optometrist's night terrors  the Oakley Thump is able to play music, but only Kraftwerk and Devo.  Now Oakley is developing smart glasses like Google Glass, but with improved style.  I imagine that they will probably hook into your nostrils or attach to a mouth-guard.

Look Like an Android with Android Glasses

Come at me bro.

Glasses, disappointingly, do no fire force beams

The Bits Blog at the New York Times has written a piece about Google developing glasses,called Project Glass, that will stream information in front of your eyes.  The glasses will be Android based with a 3G or 4G data connection.  They will also contain sensors, GPS, and a camera.  To navigate the device the user tilts their head to scroll and click (And you thought people wearing Bluetooths in their ears talking to themselves looked like freaks). Supposedly the glasses will be released at the end of the year. Here is a quote from the Bits Blog:
The project is currently being built in the Google X offices, a secretive laboratory near Google’s main campus that is charged with working on robots, space elevators and dozens of other futuristic projects.
A SPACE ELEVATOR!  Holy ****!  Who gives a flip about those stupid glasses.

Google will now be tracking its users across all of its sites.  Here's what Gizmodo had to say

"What this means for you is that data from the things you search for, the emails you send, the places you look up on Google Maps, the videos you watch in YouTube, the discussions you have on Google+ will all be collected in one place. It seems like it will particularly affect Android users, whose real-time location (if they are Latitude users), Google Wallet data and much more will be up for grabs."  Oh and Blogger (they forgot).
